Ferrari of Houston is one of the great Ferrari dealerships in America. It is not a great dealership because of the size or design of the buildings but because of the service it provides, the technical expertise it applies to every problem, the knowledge and professionalism of the staff, and the standards of operations it follows. It is never easy to be at the top of the class, but Ferrari of Houston has been there since it's beginning, in 1975 when Giuseppe Risi received the authorization-direct from Enzo Ferrari-to start a factory authorized Ferrari sales and service facility in Houston.
As one of the first appointments in the new network, Giuseppe Risi was expected to represent the Ferrari brand in an exemplary fashion at all times. And so he did. Building the dealership and the client base up over 35 years into one of the premier operations in the business. One of the reasons why Enzo Ferrari appointed Giuseppe Risi as the Ferrari dealer in Houston was Risi's background and experience in racing and his passion for Ferrari and the Ferrari brand. Ferrari of Houston was built on and around a belief in racing because racing is the DNA of Ferrari. The technical excellence and capabilities required to prepare a race car to run the 24 Hours of Le Mans are directly related to the preparation and service of Ferrari road cars for clients.
The facilities at Ferrari of Houston are vertically integrated so that everything from engine rebuilding to bodywork to putting on a new set of tires is all managed and controlled to the same high standards. The Service Department is recognized as one of the best in the country; in 2014, one of our Service Representatives was honored as the best Service Representative in the country and Top 3 Worldwide. Our Ferrari technicians are among the most highly trained in the world; each year, the dealership spends over five figures in training - per technician to keep the technicians current with best practice service techniques, practices, and issues. The Parts Department has historically been among the tops in America; it maintains a complete stock of current and hard-to-source vintage parts.
The Body shop was one of the first Factory Authorized Body Shops in North America and can handle all types of repairs, from vintage steel to modern aluminum and composites. Painting is done in one of two Accu-Draft paint booths, the same type used by the factory. Paint mixing is handled by a special computerized system that can match any color, new or old-assisted, at all times, by the trained, experienced eyes of Steve Egyed, the Ferrari of Houston bodyshop manager who has over 30 years of experience in top end body and restoration work.
Ferrari of Houston is totally committed to the sales and service of only Ferrari automobiles. As a stand-alone Ferrari dealership, our focus is Ferrari and only Ferrari.
